Agentes biológicos no controle de aflatoxinas em piscicultura

Abstract

A presente revisão mostra a possibilidade de controlara contaminação de aflatoxinas por agentes biológicosem aquicultura. Várias estratégias (físicas, químicase biológicas) têm sido desenvolvidas para controlar,reduzir, inativar ou eliminar a disponibilidade destasmicotoxinas. Muitos estudos estão sendo conduzidospara a descontaminação de aflatoxinas em alimentospara animais, incluindo a utilização de micro-organismosbenéficos que podem se ligar as aflatoxinas notrato gastrointestinal reduzindo o grau de absorção.Existem produtos comerciais destinados a alimentospara peixes, que estão disponíveis como prebióticose probióticos e são formadas por estirpes de bactériase leveduras e são muito utilizados em ensaios deadsorção de micotoxinas. Portanto, estes alimentosfuncionais podem ser capazes de reduzir a quantidadede micotoxinas presentes no trato gastrointestinal
