Depresión humídica urbana en zona árida

Abstract

Preliminary results of a two-year research project (CICITCA-UNSJ: 2006-2007) are exposed. The humidity depression in a city of arid zone (urban frame of the great San Juan city) is correlated with the occupation of the land through the Land Occupation Factor (FOS) and with the building volume through the Volume Density (DV). The preliminary results let to know the incidence of both urban characteristics on the micro-climatic conditions of the city. The definitive ones will be transferred to the government power, which is responsible for the control and development of the human habitat in the province, as a design tool that helps to regulate the applications of urban index in the urban planning of the city of arid zone, tending to the sustainability of the human settlements.
