Políticas de la neutralidad

Abstract

La neutralidad se aplica a las variedades lingüísticas para obliterar la diversidad intrínseca a cualquier lengua, y mucho más a una que se expande por cuatro continentes y tiene más de 400 millones de hablantes nativos, como es el caso del español. La premisa de "hablar neutro" presupone que, en pos de la comprensión interdialectal, los hablantes deberían esconder los acentos, las palabras y las estructuras que caracterizan su manera real de expresarse.En este artículo nos ocupamos de una concepción muy diferente de neutralidad: la que aparece involucrada en la etiqueta "argentino neutro", utilizada entre 2007 y 2015 en documentos oficiales del canal Encuentro. Aun con los riesgos que implica analizar un pasado demasiado reciente, aspiramos a esbozar algunas pistas dispersas que sirvan para reconstruir las políticas lingüísticas impulsadas por el Estado en el período kirchnerista.
