Trabajo de cuidados y trabajo asalariado: Desarmando nudos de reproducción de desigualdad

Abstract

El presente trabajo sistematiza los debates actuales sobre la cuestión del trabajo y el cuidado desde una mirada feminista, recogiendo antecedentes y evidencia que dan cuenta de cómo operan actualmente las estructuras básicas de reproducción de la desigualdad en el mundo del trabajo. Para ello, en la primera sección se presenta una síntesis del debate conceptual en torno a la cuestión. En la segunda, se da cuenta de los aspectos destacados que la evidencia empírica revela en torno a la articulación entre trabajo productivo y reproductivo y sus implicancias en términos de reproducción de la desigualdad. En la tercera, se exponen los avances en materia de discusión, diseño e implementación de políticas públicas que buscan atender el problema. En la última, se presentan las conclusiones centrales y se subrayan los aspectos que se considera debieran guiar la investigación y el debate en el campo.
