Extractivismo petroquímico, conflictos territoriales y acción colectiva judicializada en Bahía Blanca

Abstract

El (neo)extractivismo ha resultado un concepto potente que signó los debates sobre la realidad latinoamericana de la última década. Desde esta línea interpretativa, la mayor parte de las reflexiones centraron su atención en espacios rurales, anclando su análisis en los sitios específicos donde tiene lugar la extracción de bienes primarios (minerales, hidrocarburos, productos agrarios). Sin embargo, creemos que en la caracterización y explicación de los procesos de acumulación contemporáneos resulta necesaria una ampliación de la categoría de extractivismo que incorpore a los territorios urbanos. La anterior aseveración envuelve, por tanto, un doble interrogante: ¿cuál es la articulación entre los territorios rurales y urbanos que se produce bajo este patrón de acumulación? ¿por medio de qué formas concretas interviene el extractivismo en la producción y transformación de las ciudades?...
