Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone analizar la supuesta distinción entre las vías a la transición al capitalismo. A partir de la obra de Dobb, se popularizó una lectura de El Capital que supone que el camino realmente revolucionario al capitalismo es aquel que emprenden los productores directos, luego de atravesar un proceso de diferenciación social, empiezan a organizar la producción sobre una base capitalista. Mientras que, los casos en los que el capital mercantil se apropia de la producción, no representan cambios estructurales destinados a perdurar. Ahora bien, esta interpretación supone un divorcio entre circulación y producción que no se sigue de una lectura holística de la obra de Marx, y que lejos de permitir una comprensión cabal de los procesos transicionales, obtura la aprehensión del concreto histórico, con sus múltiples determinaciones. En nuestro trabajo, pretendemos abordar esta problemática, a partir del análisis del capital italiano, originado en la circulación, y a la vez implantado en múltiples actividades productivas, cuyo rol es trascendental para el desarrollo de la producción textil murciana en el siglo XV.
