El contexto macroeconómico global: financiarización y proteccionismo

Abstract

En el presente capítulo delinearemos el contexto macroeconómico global en el que el próximo gobierno argentino deberá tomar las decisiones de política económica necesarias para retomar el sendero de crecimiento sustentable, controlar la inflación, recuperar el mercado interno, fomentar la inversión, generar empleo y garantizarle una mejor calidad de vida a todos los ciudadanos. Como se verá a continuación, este contexto macroeconómico global estará signado (en ausencia de cambios abruptos) por dos características distintivas: liberalización financiera e intervenciones comerciales restrictivas. En otras palabras, las políticas económicas, que deberán ser implementadas para establecer un nuevo modelo de desarrollo a partir de 2019, tendrán que tener en cuenta las oportunidades y, principalmente, limitaciones que impondrán conjuntamente la financiarización global y el creciente proteccionismo de los países centrales.
