Desde las primeras décadas del Siglo XXI asistimos a la profundización de una crisis de grandes proporciones en el sistema mundial que puede redefinir el ordenamiento global tal y como lo conocemos. La crisis que atravesamos actualmente tiene un carácter multidimensional: es una crisis económica, financiera, ecológica, social y cultural. Y tiene alcances globales, siendo la resultante de procesos de disputa de proyectos estratégicos a nivel global que implicaron la configuración de una nueva territorialidad del poder mundial. Es una crisis sistémica del capitalismo contemporáneo, una crisis integral y civilizatoria.
Since the first decades of the 21st century we have witnessed the deepening of a crisis of great proportions in the world system that could redefine the global order as we know it. The crisis we are currently experiencing is multidimensional in nature: it is an economic, financial, ecological, social and cultural crisis. And it has global scope, being the result of dispute processes of strategic projects at a global level that implied the configuration of a new territoriality of world power. It is a systemic crisis of contemporary capitalism, a comprehensive and civilizational crisis.
