Abstract

Since the first decades of the 21st century we have witnessed the deepening of a crisis of great proportions in the world system that could redefine the global order as we know it. The crisis we are currently experiencing is multidimensional in nature: it is an economic, financial, ecological, social and cultural crisis. And it has global scope, being the result of dispute processes of strategic projects at a global level that implied the configuration of a new territoriality of world power. It is a systemic crisis of contemporary capitalism, a comprehensive and civilizational crisis.
