La reforma Universitaria como batalla cultural

Abstract

El año 2018 fue de aniversarios relevantes para los estudiantes de América Latina. Se cumplieron cien años de las luchas por la reforma universitaria en Córdoba, Argentina, y cincuenta del movimiento estudiantil de 1968en México. En este trabajo se recuerda y se vuelve a analizar, con muchos años de distancia, los núcleos fundamentales de la reforma de Córdoba, que tuvo su principal documento en la publicación del Manifiesto Liminar del 21 de junio de 1918. Contra la domesticación reformista de la Reforma Universitaria, en este texto se lleva a cabo una arqueología que procura recuperar el alma de la Reforma y lo que efectivamente fue. La idea principal es que el corazón de la Reforma es la revolución. Por distintos motivos es que a la Reforma Universitaria se le llama Reforma (se debe a que en marzo de 1918 se había creado un Comité Pro Reforma Universitaria), pero los estudiantes reformistas se designaban a sí mismos con la palabra revolución, concebían el acontecimiento que estaban llevando a cabo como una revolución -lo que por lo demás se corrobora en el propio Manifiesto Liminar, donde la palabra revolución es frecuente.
