El arte rupestre de Curuto-5 Antofagasta de la Sierra (Catamarca, Argentina).

Abstract

En Curuto 5 las características de las figuras humanas y de los camélidos que integran los distintos conjuntos sugieren su relación con otros característicos de estas sociedades agro-pastoriles del Formativo y de épocas posteriores (Desarrollos Regionales). El grado de exposición de los motivos y los procesos de alteración natural son tomados en cuenta para diferenciar los conjuntos de representaciones. La caracterización de rasgos particulares de figuras humanas y camélidos más la presencia de algunas asociaciones temáticas compartidas con otros sitios del área, permiten establecer distintos niveles de comparación con otros sitios del área, permiten establecer distintos niveles de comparación con otros conjuntos de la microrregión del área circumpuneña.
