Efecto de la agriculturización sobre la calidad biológica del suelo

Abstract

En la región Pampeana, la simplificación de los agroecosistemas ha ocasionado la pérdida de recursos afectando la calidad del suelo. En diferentes ambientes (subhúmedos y semiáridos) y secuencias de cultivos, se evaluó el efecto de la agriculturización mediante indicadores biológicos y el carbono (C) orgánico edáfico. Los resultados expresaron que las variables más relevantes para actuar como indicadores de calidad de suelo fueron el C de biomasa microbiana (CBM) y C orgánico total (COT), junto a la actividad enzimática global y la asociada al fósforo disponible. Esos indicadores y el índice de calidad de suelo, permitieron diferenciar los suelos de monte nativo respecto de los de uso antrópico, sin observarse diferencias entre las secuencias de cultivos.
