This paper aims to explore the poetry of Francisco Madariaga (1927-2000) in an attempt to develop its historical-political commitment: to open the possibility of inhabiting and imagining a different country, a natal country that delineates itself against our nation. A country that has its own language, a super-real language, a language-song that also does not coincide with the national mono-logos. This utopian bet, we maintain, is inseparable from the work with the fluid materiality that runs through all his writing.
