Abstract

En Argentina, la vitivinicultura es la agroindustria principal en las provincias deMendoza y San Juan. Desde la década delos 80, inició un proceso de crisis ante el cualse ensayaron políticas estatales y privadasque no han logrado solucionar algunos delas causas estructurales de los problemas.Ante ello, desde la Estación ExperimentalAgropecuaria (EEA) San Juan del InstitutoNacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA),en la última década se ha trabajado enacciones de innovación tecnológica y organizacional del sector que han dado origen adiferentes políticas públicas aplicadas porel gobierno provincial que se están llevandoadelante bajo la premisa que se deben lograr buenos rendimientos en la producción,pero siempre asociados a una equitativadistribución del producto generado y a lamejora de las condiciones de trabajo.El presente estudio de caso tiene por objetivo analizar el proceso de interrelación entrela investigación, el diseño de maquinariasapropiadas y la cooperación interinstitucional en la promoción de la modernizaciónvitivinícola en San Juan.
