Durabilidad y comportamiento en servicio

Abstract

En este capítulo se abordan varios temas que se vinculan con la durabilidad y la vida en servicio del Hormigón Reforzado con Fibras (HRF). En la primera parte se tratan cuestiones vinculadas con la durabilidad de las fibras en sí mismas y del HRF, y luego se consideran las consecuencias que genera el desarrollo de dos procesos de degradación en el hormigón, la exposición a alta temperatura y el desarrollo de la reacción álcali-sílice, tanto en lo que concierne a la adherencia fibra–matriz como a las propiedades mecánicas del hormigón dañado.
