Sindicalismo e direitos

Abstract

Os sindicatos são fruto da luta dos trabalhadores pela conquista de diferentes direitos: por melhores condições de trabalho e de vida, mas também pelo direito de associação e participação política. Este artigo analisa, em primeiro lugar, a emergência dos sindicatos não como resultado de um reconhecimento espontâneo por parte do Estado, mas da dinâmica da luta de classes e, em segundo lugar, as reações do movimento sindical face às políticas neoliberais, que pautaram as ações do Estado na Argentina e no Brasil a partir da década de 1990, que procuram promover um desmantelamento da teia de direitos historicamente construída pelo sindicalismo.
