Septoriosis del trigo

Abstract

La enfermedad del trigo conocida como septoriosis o mancha de la hoja (MHT) es producida por el hongo patógeno Septoria tritici (Roberge in Desmaz. f. asexual) o Mycosphaerella graminicola [(Fuckel) J. Schröt, in Cohn f. sexual]. Se encuentra ampliamente distribuida en todo el mundo, sobre todo en las regiones caracterizadas por temperatura y humedad elevadas. En Argentina ocurre de forma endémica en la zona sur-sudeste (Zona IV Sur) de la provincia de Buenos Aires. En años con incidencia elevada sobre cultivares susceptibles disminuye el rendimiento causando graves daños.
