Abstract

Luego de casi 30 años de políticas activas de promoción de la participación ciudadana en las agendas locales de América Latina, también es posible observar en el país un rico panorama de experiencias, mecanismos y espacios donde el municipio y los ciudadanos asumen un rol protagónico en la democracia de proximidad. A lo largo de estas páginas, hemos intentado relevar la topografía que va dibujando la participación ciudadana institucional en una treintena de ciudades argentinas; ciudades que especialmente durante la década pasada se han empeñado en ensayar diversos formatos de incidencia en la formulación e implementación de políticas públicas y con resultados variables.
