Abstract

In this century the preference of Argentina in South America was one of the characteristics of her relationship with the world. One of the aims has been to be integrated to the subregion to have international presence. So that the objective of this work is to analyze the actions carried out by its foreign policy to comply with the above-mentioned purpose. We believe that in the bilateral relations with South American countries there was a setback. Argentina overstated the link with some of these countries and undervalued with others, which revealed that its foreign policy in the subcontinent was selective.
