Conservación y manejo de restos humanos: Colección Bioantropológica del Norte del Chubut (Secretaría de Cultura del Chubut /IDEAUS-CONICET)

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se detalla el estado actual de la colección Bioantropológica co-gestionada entre la Provincia del Chubut y el IDEAus-CONICET. Esta colección se originó en 1990 y se integra de esqueletoshumanos procedentes de la Provincia del Chubut y del sur de Río Negro. Los materiales que la componen se encuentran bajo el régimen de la Ley Provincial XI Nº 11 (antes Ley 3559) y su Decreto Reglamentario Nº 1387/98, siendo la Secretaría de Cultura el ente de aplicación de la Ley. Desde sus orígenes esta colección ha sido tratada con sensibilidad, cuidado y respeto, siguiendo las normas propuestas por el Código de ética profesional del ICOM y de la AABA.
