Antifungicos de plantas nativas del norte argentino

Abstract

Argentina es el segundo exportador mundial de maíz. Para la campaña 2017/2018 se estima una cosecha de 31,5 millones de toneladas con un área sembrada de 4,2 millones de hectáreas. Uno de los principales factores que afectan a la producción maicera es la podredumbre de granos generada por especies del género Aspergillus. El objetivo de este trabajo fue detectar e identificar antifúngicos procedentes de plantas nativas del Noroeste Argentino útiles en el control de especies de Aspergillus sección Flavi. Partes aéreas de Prosopis ruscifolia, Bidens pilosa, Cercidium praecox y Phoradendron liga se extrajeron secuencialmente con cuatro solventes de polaridad creciente, obteniéndose dieciséis extractos. La actividad antifúngica de los mismos se ensayó sobre cepas de Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus nomius, Aspergillus flavus y Aspergillus parasiticus. Posteriormente se aislaron e identificaron constituyentes antifúngicos, caracterizándose los mismos en cuanto a actividad antifúngica y antiaflatoxigénica, efecto conjunto con xenobióticos, y toxicidad.
