Abstract

En este capítulo se presenta la composición y estructura de las asociaciones bentónicas en plataforma externa y talud, a partir de información relevante obtenida en el marco de los Proyectos del INIDEP y sobre la base de la fauna acompañante de las pesquerías. De manera complementaria, se presenta en forma resumida información general sobre las comunidades bentónicas de aguas profundas a partir de la participación en campañas extranjeras y colaboración con investigadores de otros países.
