Abstract

Para comprender las relaciones sociales en una sociedad hispanocolonial como la santafesina es imprescindible estudiar a las familias, dado que resumían un conjunto complejo que no se agotaba en los vínculos de sangre. Las acciones personales estaban generalmente inscriptas en un conjunto: la familia, el bando o la comunidad. De la misma manera que la comunidad declamaba como máximo valor el bien común, una persona, en general, siempre pretendía que obraba por el bien de su familia y de su patrimonio
