Hormonas del aparato digestivo

Abstract

El funcionamiento del aparato digestivo está gobernado por factores nerviosos y humorales. Pero, a su vez, suministra substancias absorbidas (nutritivas, medicamentosas u otras), y ejerce acciones humorales y reflejas que repercuten sobre las funciones del organismo. El funcionamiento correcto del aparato digestivo, secretorio y motor, depende de una regulación múltiple: nerviosa, neurohumoral y humoral. La acción reguladora del sistema nervioso sobre las funciones ,digestivas es sumamente importante y dirige el delicado encadenamiento del trabajo de sus diversas partes. Pero el sistema nervioso central no es el único regulador, ya que aun privados de su inervación extrínseca, y después de algunos trastornos más o menos fugaces, gran parte de los órganos digestivos pueden presentar un funcionamiento suficiente, como se observa en el caso de la secreción pancreática y biliar, motricidad y secreción gástrica o del intestino delgado. La influencia nerviosa es más necesaria en los segmentos iniciales (glándulas salivales, boca, faringe, esófago) y filiales (recto y ano) del aparato digestivo.
