Sobre la libertad: Estructuras sociales de la autonomía individual

Abstract

Este libro ofrece los resultados de un trabajo de investigación sobre la percepción de libertad. El autor propone un análisis de la relación de la percepción de libertad con la posición de clase social y las relaciones interpersonales, postulando que no todos nos sentimos libres por igual. A partir de allí, analiza qué relaciones sociales son más frecuentes entre quienes afirman sentirse con mayor libertad de acción en sus vidas cotidianas, y cómo la edad, el sexo y el nivel socioeconómico, entre otros aspectos, modifican estas percepciones. Con la libertad como telón de fondo, De Grande analiza las redes de relaciones de la población urbana de la Argentina a partir de un relevamiento nacional de vínculos interpersonales.
