Entrevista Psicológica Perinatal (EPP): un instrumento en salud mental perinatal

Abstract

El objetivo es presentar un instrumento en salud mental perinatal: Entrevista Psicológica Perinatal (EPP), la cual permite detectar sucesos significativos de vida (“life-event”) que pueden influir durante el embarazo y parto, a los efectos de introducir la dimensión psicosocial del nacimiento en las maternidades. La EPP fue administrada a 604 madres cuyos bebés permanecían internados Neonatología en un Hospital maternoinfantil público de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, en los años 2008 y 2009. Resultados: el 12.8% en 2008 y 6.6% en 2009 de las madres no refieren algún tipo de problema; y el 59.2% en 2008 y 63.5% en 2009 de las madres refieren algún life-event, referente a problemáticas de pareja, social, muertes, problemas con otros hijos o actuales.
