Estela Figueroa y la "nueva poesía argentina": Exploración y reinvención de una conjetura de Aldo Oliva

Abstract

Este artículo expande una conjetura de Aldo Oliva sobre la poesía de Estela Figueroa a partir de la caracterización de su poética. Para ello se trabaja en varios órdenes. En primer lugar se define el tipo de intervención sobre el habla que hace de su escritura una firma, un objeto reconocible sin necesidad de que su nombre propio lo identifique. En segundo lugar se reconocen sus persistencias temáticas: las obsesiones que recorren su obra se intersectan con el análisis de sus procedimientos retóricos advirtiéndose decisiones escriturarias que permiten sostener que su poesía funda su singularidad en una ¨poética del despojo¨. Finalmente se describe su ¨poética del envío¨: su escritura trae la voz de los poetas que respeta y también contribuye a colocar su nombre junto al de ellos, haciéndose un lugar junto a quien invoca a la vez que conduce a su lectura. En el cruce de estos órdenes se intenta mostrar por qué es posible sostener que este trabajo que Figueroa despliega desde su escritura permite inscribirla en la ¨nueva poesía argentina¨. Poesía que vuelve a interrogar lo que esta forma del arte puede, lo que sabe y lo que hace mientras dice.
