Abstract

El presente trabajo busca profundizar en algunas de las dimensiones abordadas previamente en el “Estudio exploratorio sobre las trayectorias socio-educativas y socio-laborales de migrantes haitianos, senegaleses y ucranianos en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires”, desarrollado e implementado por OIM Argentina en el marco del proyecto “Promoción de la inclusión social de las personas migrantes en Argentina” financiado por el Fondo de la OIM para el Desarrollo (IDF por sus siglas en inglés), entre mayo y octubre de 2016. El estudio implicó un acercamiento de tipo etnográfico a la situación de los migrantes pertenecientes a estos grupos extra-regionales. En términos metodológicos, la investigación se basó en un proceso de observación-participante y en la realización de entrevistas en profundidad a personas nacidas en Haití, Ucrania y Senegal que al momento de la investigación cursaban estudios (o deseaban cursarlos) y/o trabajaban (o buscaban trabajar) en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y que llegaron al país entre 2004 y 2015.
