La teoría del populismo y el concepto de lo nacional popular han sido utilizados para pensar los problemas políticos latinoamericanos. Las lecturas marxistas críticas de Gramsci incluyeron a lo nacional-popular como un elemento clave, mientras que la teoría del populismo (posmarxista) también se apoyó en Gramsci pero sin tanta atención a este concepto. Este artículo propone una inclusión de la cuestión de lo nacional-popular de inspiración gramsciana como forma de contribuir a una teoría política del populismo capaz de pensar la conformación del sujeto "pueblo" y las estrategias políticas de las fuerzas nacional-populares.
The theory of populism and the concept of the popular national have been used to think about Latin American political problems. The critical Marxist readings of Gramsci included the national-popular as a key element, while the theory of populism (post-Marxist) also relied on Gramsci but without much attention to this concept. This article proposes an inclusion of the national-popular question of Gramscian inspiration as a way to contribute to a political theory of populism capable of thinking about the conformation of the subject "people" and the political strategies of the national-popular forces.
