Abstract

The objective of our work is to present a reading of a new narrative that circulates in spaces of feminist cyberactivism: the reports of childbirth. This reading focuses on considering these stories as political instruments, as tools for which experiences are socialized with the potential of putting into discussion access to sexual and reproductive rights in pregnancy and childbirth care. To this end, in the first part, we will outline general characteristics of this type of narrative and describe the dynamics of the feminist cyber-activist Facebook groups where they are published. In the second part, we will present the construction of a box of conceptual tools that allows us to read the reports of childbirth, with contributions from the studies of recent history, feminist methodology and narrative research.
