Abstract

Comentarios: Especie generalista (bosques, sabanas arboladas y pastizales (Di Bitetti et al., 2009; Macdonald y Sillero-Zubiri, 2004; Wilson y Mittermeier, 2009), generalmente presente y relativamente abundante en la mayoría de las ecorregiones del norte de Argentina. Localmente la especie puede estar sufriendo una retracción areal (ej. en el Chaco Semiárido de la provincia de Salta) como producto de la expansión de la frontera agropecuaria, pero esta retracción no superaría el 30% del área actual de la especie en el país en tres generaciones (tiempo generacional aproximado de 4 años).
