Citoquinas y quemoquinas en trombocitemia esencial.

Abstract

La trombocitemia esencial (TE), junto con la policitemia vera y la mielofibrosis con metaplasia mieloide, comprenden un grupo de enfermedades denominadas síndromes mieloproliferativos crónicos Filadelfia negativos. La megacariocitopoyesis es un complejo proceso en el cual una célula madre se compromete con este linaje, prolifera y madura para producir megacariocitos poliploides con abundante citoplasma, a partir del cual se generan plaquetas, eliminándose por último el núcleo remanente. Estos procesos son regulados por factores de transcripción y por citoquinas presentes en el medio extracelular. En la presente revisión se discutirá sobre los principales hallazgos en este campo, haciendo especial mención de los hallazgos realizados en nuestro laboratorio; alteraciones del receptor soluble de interleuquina 6, citoquinas profibróticas y del receptor de la quemoquina SDF-1, CXCR4 en la trombocitemia esencial.
