Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the intervening variables in obstetric violence (OV), how to identify it and consider those hidden situations that lead to OV. Analyze some of the intervening variables in OV: absence of psychological protocol for performing tuba lligation, obstetric controls performed with medical equipment that does nota company the birth and puerperium process, etc. It is located the conceptual tool of secure attachment relating it to the confidence that the pregnant woman places in the team that attends her pregnancy. The importance of follow-up until the moment of delivery is revealed, considering how disruptions can affect the emotional state of the pregnant woman. In function of the developed, it´s analyze the place of the perinatal psychologist as an "amalgam" of the perinatal scene, a caregiver of attachment in perinatal situations. Illustrating this with subtle clinical cases of OV. In conclusion, an Implementation Protocol is proposed that considers the differentl evels involved: the baby in critical situations of birth (prematurity yor neonatal pathology), the family and / orcare givers, and the health team. Setting the criteria for diagnosis and intervention principles to protect Maternal Emotional Safety.
