Polémicas y textos programáticos tempranos sobre literatura policial (1877-1942)

Abstract

El texto discute diferentes momentos de la discusión sobre el género policial en la Argentina, a partir de las formulaciones y prescripciones que aparecen en diferentes textos programáticos, como prólogos, críticas, etc. entre los años de 1877 y 1912. Entre las primeras formulaciones abordamos los escritos de Luis V. Varela y llegamos hasta la polémica entre Borges y Caillois. Intentamos demarcar diferentes momentos de la concepción del género en relación con diferentes modelos retóricos, unos que buscan exaltar los ánimos (impelere animos) y otros demostrar algo (rem docere).
