Partimos de la expresión derridiana, "Soy un hombre de lágrimas y plegarias", que ha dado lugar al trabajo de John Caputo, The Prayers and Tears of Jacques Derrida. Religion without Religion, (1997), para pensar, más allá de la interpretación de Caputo, otros sentidos de la "confesión" derridiana. Desde este punto de vista, insistiremos en la idea de secreto y los nuevos sentidos que esta noción adquiere en las últimas obras derridianas. Plantearemos, entonces, la idea de "lo intocable" como posible sentido de lo mesiánico, y sus implicaciones en la idea de comunidad de lo viviente.
