Restauración con especies arbóreas nativas en Patagonia

Abstract

Los bosques Andino Patagónicos sufren disturbios ocasionados por el fuego, la herbivoría, las cortas de aprovechamiento forestal no planificadas, enfermedades como el Mal del Ciprés, y la fragmentación de los bosques, entre otros factores. Cuando estos disturbios ocurren en forma aislada, pero principalmente de manera asociada, generan alteraciones difíciles de revertir. La restauración ecológica de los bosques mediante la plantación de especies nativas se presenta como una alternativa viable para recuperarlos, tanto con objetivos de conservación como de producción.
