Promesas, promesas. Cambiemos y su disputa por el sentido común

Abstract

En este artículo presentamos algunas hipótesis para comprender por qué el gobierno de Cambiemos, aún en la actual coyuntura crítica, sigue logrando implementar su plan regresivo, antipopular e insustentable, gozando además de una notable pasividad social y de la adhesión estable del 30% de la población. Sostendremos aquí que la clave para comprender las adhesiones a Cambiemos no debe buscarse en el plano económico, sino en el plano político y simbólico: más específicamente, en el contenido de la promesa política de Cambiemos. Esta promesa, que ha presentado variaciones a lo largo de estos casi tres años de gobierno, mantiene, sin embargo, un puñado de elementos centrales, agrupados en torno a la idea de “construcción de un cambio cultural”. Esta promesa contiene tres oposiciones centrales: meritocracia y prebenda; orden de las jerarquías y desorden de la politización; y aspiración frente a realidad.
