Abstract

O estudo que descrevemos neste artigo desenvolveu-se com a aplicação Cmaps Tools desenhada pelo Institute for Human Machine Cognition (IHMC). Este software permite elaborar mapas conceptuais e foi desenvolvido seguindo o modelo construtivista da aprendizagem de Joseph Novak. Ao aluno dá a possibilidade de representar o conhecimento através de ideias chave e ligá-las mediante vínculos semânticos. O texto que apresentamos reflecte uma experiência realizada com alunos do 10º ano do Ensino Profissional na disciplina de Português. O principal objectivo do estudo foi avaliar a aplicação pedagógica de mapas conceptuais, promover a flexibilidade cognitiva e incentivar o trabalho colaborativo.
