Infrastrutture a perdere

Abstract

Il saggio esplora il tema delle infrastrutture secondo un’angolatura particolare, che vede oggi la progettazione architettonica dialetticamente contesa tra una ricerca del ‘nuovo’ come valore, ed un ritorno al ‘principio’ come continua modificazione dell’esistente. Attraversando il pensiero che da Lefebvre arriva sino ad Harvey, l’articolo indaga alcune ‘figure’ della connessione e ne esplora i possibili destini attraverso le diverse ‘esperienze‘ che le hanno caratterizzate, dai grandi progetti di rigenerazione urbana (High line) ai piccoli interventi di riqualificazione architettonica (le piazze delle stazioni e i piccoli manufatti legati ai caselli ferroviari), sino ai tracciati prediali legati ai camminamenti rituali o alle maglie agricole. Si tratta per lo più di proposte ‘aperte’, di intenzioni non risolte, di disegni interrotti, di sguardi solo accennati, la cui poliedricità tuttavia sembra suggerire ancora accostamenti inediti, scaturiti non già dall’essenzialità degli oggetti coinvolti, quanto dal filtro operato dalla mente di chi li ha osservati, riletti, interpretati.
