SPATIAL-DIVISION MULTIPLEXING BY FIBER-OPTIC CIRCULAR VORTICES

Abstract

The feasibility of multi-mode fiber transmission based on the spatial-division multiplexing of circular vortices and on their demultiplexing by an interferometric technique, in view of high-capacity “green” communications, has been experimentally proven.
