Abstract

(Infra) luoghi: un concetto per defnire i nuovi luoghi creati dalle molteplici relazioni tra le più moderne infrastrutture per la mobilità e la città contemporanea. è una tematica sempre più al centro di un dibattito che ridefnisce tutti i confni disciplinari tradizionali, sulla base della rapida crescita della mobilità individuale e del ruolo strategico che le infrastrutture hanno conquistato sul campo, nella concreta attualità di nuove forme insediative. La metafora dell’infra tra parentesi vuole evidenziare proprio il fatto che le (infra)strutture oggi sono sempre meno “infra”, anzi stanno determinando un salto di livello, stanno sostituendo sotto molti aspetti il livello urbanistico classico: una evoluzione che mette sempre più in luce un nesso profondo tra la crescita di signifcato delle infrastrutture e nuove esigenze culturali, fondative per il senso dei grandi spazi pubblici della metropoli del futuro.
