Abstract

Il contributo al libro "La ricerca nel disegno di design. giornata di studio 20 ottobre 2010" si propone di raccontare la ricerca che ha portato alla definizione delle caratteristiche di un Museo Virtuale del Design e la sua implementazione. Nello specifico del progetto, il lavoro sul Museo Virtuale del Design esamina le possibilità offerte dalla rappresentazione per modelli digitali tridimensionali ed utilizza le tecniche e i metodi tipici della realtà virtuale applicandoli all'interno di un museo, che ha la funzione di contenere e narrare oggetti complessi come gli oggetti di design.
