Abstract

Il contributo descrive lo studio per modello di sviluppo urbanistico a bassa densità destinato alle aree di cintura di un piccolo Comune emiliano, esplorando una possibilità di crescita residenziale in territorio agricolo alternativa rispetto a quella mantenuta abitualmente dai tessuti urbanizzati diffusi. Nell’ipotesi proposta, grandi “isolati” di campagna sono assunti come infrastrutture “deboli” per una diversa modalità insediativa: non si sostituiscono alla strada, ma offrono l’opportunità di ridurre al minimo la connessione con le reti tecnologiche esistenti e di organizzare l’insediamento secondo una progetto di suolo che ricuce i sistemi ambientali discontinui o frammentati.
