The Symposium was held to honour his work and to recognize his contributions to teaching and research particularly aimed at improving precast structures and building industrialization. The Symposium brought together his former students, collaborators and friends. The programme of the Symposium is above reported. Many students of him have become active professors and appreciated researchers like Piergiorgio Malerba, Natalino Gattesco, Liberato Ferrara, Fabio Biondini, Antonella Saisi, Alessandro Palermo and many others learned Structural Design principles from his clear and enlightening books and profited of his generous activity in many National and International Committees.
