FLUORURAZIONE SUPERFICIALE CON FLUORO ELEMENTARE DI LITIO METALLICO USATO COME ANODO IN BATTERIE A LITIO METALLICO

Abstract

Processo di fluorurazione superficiale di litio metallico mediante impiego di fluoro elementare. In questo modo, si forma uno strato superficiale di LiF esente da impurità ed uniforme su tutta la superficie del Li metallico. Questo trattamento altamente riproducibile può essere realizzato anche su larga scala permette di ottenere un materiale che può essere vantaggiosamente impiegato come anodo in batteria al litio, poiché garantisce prestazioni decisamente superiori rispetto a quelle ottenute non solo utilizzando come anodo litio metallico, ma anche anodi di litio metallico dotati di uno strato di LiF, in cui la formazione dello strato di LiF si forma in situ ad opera di agenti fluoruranti organici o inorganici.
