Movimientos transfronterizos México-Estados Unidos: Los polleros como agentes de movilidad

Abstract

Las redes de tráfico de migrantes latinoamericanos constituyen un fenómeno social de actualidad que afecta a las estructuras de seguridad en las zonas fronterizas del continente americano. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el impacto que problemas como la distribución desigual del ingreso y la falta de oportunidades laborales tienen en la formación y desarrollo de las redes de tráfico de personas y los grupos de polleros. De igual manera, se expondrán algunos de los abusos que experimentan los migrantes por parte de los polleros así como las medidas que se han adoptado a nivel mundial para erradicar esta problemática.
