Implementación de estrategias metacognitivas para un aprendizaje significativo

Abstract

El problema que aborda esta investigación se basa en el análisis de cómo el docente implementa estrategias metacognitivas para lograr un aprendizaje significativo en los alumnos de la materia de Administración de nivel preparatoria en el Colegio Anáhuac Chapalita en Zapopan, Jalisco. México. Este problema se abordó a través del enfoque Cualitativo y específicamente el método Fenomenológico. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron la observación, entrevista semiestructurada y grupo focal como instrumentos. El análisis de datos se realizó mediante el método inductivo. Un profesor de la materia, dieciéis alumnos y nueve expertos en el área de Administración formaron la población del estudio. Los resultados demostraron que aunque el docente implementa estrategias metacognitivas en la materia de Administración no se diseñan desde el inicio de la planeación de clases. Las estrategias docentes más utilizadas en el contexto de estudio fueron: objetivos al inicio de cada tema, organización del material de estudio, cuadros sinópticos, resúmenes, toma de apuntes, identificación de información relevante y control de la comprensión. En cuanto al aprendizaje significativo se pudo identificar que el docente utiliza ejemplos para que los alumnos comprendan mejor la información de estudio y propicia también la reflexión para favorecer la metacognición en los alumnos al tomar conciencia de su propio proceso de aprendizaje.
