Abstract

El sistema de almacenamiento de potencia real y reactiva y de corrección de factor de potencia tiene como objetivo el de controlar el factor de potencia en un sistema eléctrico utilizando bancos de capacitores, y el de almacenar en memoria las potencias reales y reactiva del sistema eléctrico para visualizar el comportamiento del sistema eléctrico analizado (subestación), y determinar los perfiles de carga existentes. El sistema de almacenamiento de potencia real y reactiva y de corrección de factor de potencia realiza la adquisición de dos frecuencias generadas por un transductor de monitoreo, que son representativas a los valores de potencia real y reactiva del sistema eléctrico a analizar, se calculan los valores promedio de las potencias y son almacenados en memoria, en base al factor de potencia presente en el sistema eléctrico se controla automáticamente el banco de capacitores para lograr un factor de potencia superior a 0.9 en atraso, en una pantalla de cristal líquido se despliega la potencia real instantánea, la potencia reactiva instantánea, la potencia real promedio, la potencia reactiva promedio, la potencia aparente promedio, el factor de potencia promedio, el estado del banco de capacitores (de los que se encuentran en uso y los que están disponibles), el total de kVAr capacitivos conectados para corregir el factor de potencia, y el Último dato desplegado es el tiempo.
