Factores que Promueven el Aprendizaje de Personas con Retardo Mental en la Escuela Platanares-Edición Única

Abstract

El presente estudio analiza los factores que favorecen el aprendizaje del estudiante con retardo mental. En la Escuela Platanares de Costa Rica, asisten estudiantes integrados con Retardo Mental, el presente estudio pretende mejorar su condición de aprendizaje fomentando y desarrollando aquellos factores de aprendizaje que le ayuden a favorecer su proceso. El problema investigado se desarrolla desde la premisa que la escuela se basa en materias y objetivos de estudio, con un planeamiento tradicional, basado en requisitos por objetivo, sin considerar las competencias que puede desarrollar el niño con retardo mental La investigación se realiza con tres instrumentos, todos ellos inducen al análisis del docente, donde cada profesor y profesora contesta las preguntas e indica los factores que considera adecuados. Además, se realizaron varias observaciones donde se puede confrontar lo indicado en las entrevistas como en la realidad del salón de clases, y finalmente en el instrumento desarrollado para el estudiante, el cual con preguntas simples indicó aquellos factores que se presentaban en su vida.
