Modelo seis sigma para MIPyMEs.

Abstract

Las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas son un elemento muy importante en la economía del sector privado. Se han convertido en fuentes importantes de insumos y de materias primas para grandes empresas. Las grandes empresas han aplicado muchas herramientas y metodologías de calidad total para poder llevar a cabo procesos y al desarrollar productos cada vez con mayor calidad. Entre dichas metodologías se encuentra la metodología Seis Sigma, la cual ha sido enfocada a grandes empresas. Ante la creciente necesidad de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas de proveer productos y servicios de calidad a sus clientes, las grandes empresas, se han visto en la necesidad de implementar Seis Sigma en sus procesos; necesidad que se ha visto difícil de satisfacer debido a los limitados recursos financieros y humanos de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas.
