Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación pretende establecer los requerimientos mínimos necesarios para el diseño e implantación de un proyecto de confinamiento de residuos peligrosos bajo la modalidad de utilizar materiales sintéticos denominados GEOSINTÉTICOS como sustituto de materiales naturales tradicionalmente utilizados para este fin. La importancia del proyecto de investigación radica en la necesidad de garantizar que se cumplan y se mejoren las propiedades de protección, refuerzo, separación, impermeabilización y drenaje de los confinamientos para residuos peligrosos que cumpla con la normatividad vigente tanto para los residuos como para los confinamientos mismos.
